Girah by CVTS was first initiated in March 2021. It is a project launched under CVTS. Where CVTS provides vocational training and enables women to empower themselves, there CVTS also took the responsibility of providing employment to its students. To support them in that regard, we launched our social brand nationwide with the hopes of becoming international.
Vision & Mission:
The thought behind the name of this social brand, Girah (knot), is that we pull a thread from the lower social and economic backgrounds to tie them in a knot with the thread of higher economic classes. It is to show the uplifting of lower-income households by bringing different classes into one platform. Giragh represents a platform where both these classes will benefit from each other.
Apart from that, the vision of Girah by CVTS is to keep the dying art and tradition of handmade embroidery and stitching alive. Girah not only preserves these traditions but also revives them into its work. The products that Girah by CVTS has provided are the facemasks that are aligned with cultural designs.
