Chiraagh is a social project which aims to bridge the socio-economic gap by empowering the Youth of Pakistan. The seed of Chiraagh was planted in November 2016 by Waqas Haider – a sophomore at LUMS hailing from a small village – Basti Dhup Sari near Multan. Since its inception, Chiraagh has launched various projects to meet specific needs of students by catering to the interpersonal, professional, and financial needs of the students enrolled at public and low-cost educational institutes.
