Chiraagh Founder Featured in “PSL Hamaray Heroes” At HBL PSL8
The Founder of Chiraagh, Waqas Haider, has been awarded the prestigious “Hamary Heros” award at the HBL PSL match on 19th February. This esteemed award is granted to appreciate the unsung heroes working in Pakistan and contributing to its betterment.
Waqas Haider was invited to the Multan Sultan v Islamabad United match held in Multan. He was interviewed by Erin Hollan, a television host and sports presenter there. Mr. Haider shared his journey with Chiraagh and talked about his work with the Chiraagh Vocational Training School (CVTS). He also highlighted the vision of CVTS, which is to empower women and provide them with financial stability.
After the interview, Mr. Haider was invited to the presenter ceremony, where he was given the award for “Hamray Heros.” He also got a chance to meet with Muhammad Rizwan, the Pakistani cricketer.
